As always, a great listen. Hoping you’ll do more long form podcasts like The Watch Enquiry soon.

Wonderful to have News of the Week back again. And yes, terrible suffering inflicted on us by your shirking of that duty the last 2 weeks. Hope to see you in Geneva - you should host a meet up for us, your fan(s?)!

I’m glad you’ve made it through. I’ll probably be wearing one of my unsold baseball caps around Geneva to enable TFW fans to flag me down. Maybe an official meet-up next year…

GPHG sees no difference Mens vs Womens? 🤦‍♂️

My wife only likes the women’s watches, and usually loves several of the nominated ones. But no male judge is going to vote for a tiny feminine watch when put against a watch they’d actually wear. You’re spot on Chris, it’s going to eliminate dozens of excellent watches and is a disservice to the majority of women. Is this Wei’s ‘modern’ idea? My impossible dream for GPHG: a host that doesn’t suck at hosting.

Btw - not sure you’re aware but this podcast episode ends at ~22 mins but then carries on with no audio for another ~6 minutes

Ahh FFS. Rushed, but that is bizarre. Thanks for pointing it out and apologies to all!

That cabriolet looks cool tbh. Agree on Clymer’s love letter to RRCHF- was a good read. I saw the watch in Geneva earlier this year and it’s lovely. The stepped case in particular was appealing - not sure how that will age, design wise. It’s juxtaposed against the very curved lugs. You’ll see what I mean. Also, I believe the Antimagnetic is not a once-off; people can buy the regular production version but you can ask him yourself.
